A Circus Blessing is a fundraising event created Kylee Zulauf at 11 years old to help raise funds for Blessings in a Backpack Forsyth. Blessings in a Backpack Forsyth is ran by Lambert High School students. Each week they pack meals for approximately 520 school age Forsyth County Students to merge the hunger gap over the weekends.
Kylee was 10 when she began her circus journey and saw her very 1st circus show. She was dissapointed when she found out how much circus tickets cost. She knew that most kids in the Blessings in a Backpack program will never get to see the one thing that she loves the most. For some of the kids, affording a day of family fun is just not in the budget. A Circus Blessing is open to everyone, but proudly provides every student in the Blessings in a Backpack program a free ticket to the event. All donations and funds collected from A Circus Blessing will go directly to Blessings in a Backpack Forsyth.
With your help, A Circus Blessing will truly be like no other! Join us for a family day of fun, spectacular shows, amazing activities and more... all while helping the kids of Forsyth County!

Kylee has been working with Blessings in a Backpack since she was just 4 years old. She started her Fresh Fruit for Forsyth project and donated over 35,000 tangerines. In 2019, she started Kylee's Awesome Applesauce Project and has currently donated over 60,000 individual cups of applesauce to the children of Blessings in a Backpack Forsyth.
Kylee is an aerialist in training and loves the circus arts! It was her dream to combine her passion for the circus with her passion to end childhood hunger in her community. On May 4th, 2024 she held the first ever A Circus Blessing at the Cumming Fairgrounds, raising $10,000 for Blessings in a Backpack.
Blessings in a Backpack is a Lambert High School based organization that provides weekend food to elementary/middle school students in the Federal Free & Reduced Meal Program in Forsyth County. Lambert High School is the only Blessings in a Backpack servicing over half of the Forsyth County Schools.
